Late 2016, Ollie Joseph — a rapper, songwriter, and occasional singer — emerged from the mid-Michigan area with the release of his first single, “How It’s Going Down,” to all streamable platforms.
Exposed to many genres of music as a child, the Japan born artist has since cultivated his own versatile catalog of singles. Ollie’s output of songs range from swaggering modern hip-hop anthems, to melodic ballads that are sure to activate your feels. His worldly experience has given him the upper hand in differentiating himself from the typical hip-hop artist. Having traveled to over 20 countries, the now Los Angeles based emcee’s songs are inspired by circumstances not many his age have gone through.
With a rookie status being combatted with a veteran work ethic, Ollie is just getting started in the rap game.
